Students are required to write a 1-page term paper. Essays must be typed, 12 point Times New Roman font, 1 inch margins, justified alignment, and single spaced. Write a short synopsis on a chapter of interest in The Federalist Papers. Students are encouraged to address one of the following topics: The Articles of Confederation, Separation of Powers, Federalism, Republicanism & Representative Government, The Presidency, The Congress (House and/or Senate), and The Federal Courts. Papers must include properly cited in-text references. Students may use either APA or Chicago style citations as long as they are consistent. Remember to include your name, course information, date, and report title. Number your pages in the header or footer. Students are advised to make use of their word processor’s spelling and grammar check tools!!! Term papers will be graded as follows: Student Typed 1 Page, Single Spaced, 12 Point Times New Roman Font, 1 Inch Margins, & Justified Alignment.Student Chose Proper Topic From Options 1 Through 5.Student Used Quotations From Readings & Proper Citations (APA or Chicago).Grammar, Spelling, Organization (i.e. Introduction, Support, Conclusion).
