“THE LIMITS OF PHYSICAL SECURITY
The current difficulties with increased security throughout the U.S.A. have generated controversy concerning the lost rights of citizens. This controversy is highlighted with the passage of the “Patriot Act” and its enforcement. Again, recently reviewed in Congress and a major consideration in the past presidential candidate debates. It really has not been headlines due to the discussions of heath care coverage and national strategy to combat terror. I suspect since there is “no” national policy on combating terrorism, it would be difficult to place where the Patriot Act now falls.

Start at these web sites or similar ones for an explanation of the “Patriot Act.” Note the opposition to the Act in other available sites.
