After reading through chapter 11 on Human Resource Management, what areas of HR should non-HR managers be particularly aware of, or trained on and why?  What mistakes have you seen managers make that could have been avoided if they knew more about the things you read about in this chapter?  Please be very detailed and thorough in your answer.
