As we come to the end of our first Unit, I would like you to reflect on what you have learned about race and freedom in US history. To accomplish this, please follow the steps outlined below in writing your Connect to the Present post. Write a three-paragraph essay that follows the instructions below: PARAGRAPH 1: the group i chose was African American Choose one of the groups we discussed: African Americans, Native Americans, Chinese Americans, or Hispanic Americans. Re-read the sections in the textbook that discuss the unique experience of your chosen group. Summarize in a paragraph the historical information you learned by reading the textbook. Utilize textbook information to briefly summarize how your chosen group was both denied and fought for freedom in US. (Include clear citations to specific passages in the textbook.
