[HINT: The Joint Commission’s (TJC) ORYX Clinical Quality Accountability Measures are used by all hospitals in the U.S. to meet regulatory requirements and to earn hospital accreditation. Review the ORYX measures at https://www.jointcommission.org/accountability_measures.aspx. For example, describe how ACOs can reduce the cost for patients with acute myocardial infarction or heart failure. Also consider preventive medicine for at-risk patients.
