Welcome to the course! Once you have reviewed the Readings and Resources, and completed the Me, a Self-Assessment assignment, post your introduction to the class using the following criteria: Please share your name/nickname, where you are from, and the degree program you are enrolled in. Next, share a few traits about yourself that you discovered from the self-assessment. What qualities do you have that can translate into becoming a successful entrepreneur? Did you notice any natural traits you have that can deter you from being a successful entrepreneur? What are they? Readings and Resources Articles, Websites, and Videos: Most of us have worked for organizations, whether large or small, we were their employees. Basically, we showed up each day, did what they told us to do, and received a prescribed paycheck for our efforts. Some of us are comfortable with the simple calculus of being employed – show up and do a decent job, get paid, and go home. The same cannot be said for entrepreneurs – they get paid based on results. Sure, they all show up, but business success comes from a balanced mix of internal and external factors.
