Explain the characteristics of the chosen stage of the household in terms of age, marital status and children. You need to find 2 relevant journal articles that discuss the role of the household in consumer buying processes. Avoid just summarising the textbook. Then go to the Australia Bureau of Statistics (ABS) and find the census data that explains what this household is doing in terms of income, social activity, purchasing habits, and housing. Use your research into the stage of household and data from the Australia Bureau of Statistics for support when discussing the implications for marketing strategy in terms of the following products: • Family sized cars • Single-sized food packaging Discuss the importance of your household stage on the market and make recommendations to developing appropriate marketing strategy.
